Brandon RCMP are investigating a report of the poisoning of hundreds of honey-producing bee hives resulting in thousands of dead bees and a substantial financial loss. It is believed this occurred sometime between August 14 and September 3, 2014 at two separate locations six and 10 miles northwest of Brandon in the RM of Elton.
