On July 23, 2014 Brandon RCMP were dispatched to a report of a heard of livestock loose along Highway #1 in the RM of North Cypress approximately 20 miles east of Brandon near Camp Hughes. It was later learned by Police that two 4′ X 12′ blue metal tube gates were stolen from a pasture which released the cattle to wander.
