Around 3:30 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, September 28, 2014, the resident of a home in the 100 block of Merrell Avenue in Dauphin, Manitoba, was awakened by a crashing sound. When they got up to check, they discovered a broken window and that their house was on fire. Damage to the home was extensive.
