On March 31, 2014, just before 6:00 p.m., a motorist was flagged down on Highway 5, approximately 10 kilometers west of Dauphin, Manitoba. A man approached the female motorist’s vehicle saying he was in possession of pantyhose and a condom. He then attempted to strike up a conversation. The woman was able to drive away.

The following day, a similar incident was reported to the Dauphin RCMP. A woman was sitting in her vehicle on 1st Avenue N.E. in Dauphin when she was approached by a man who stated he sells women’s pantyhose.

The man is described as being in his thirties with light hair. He was wearing a black coat with dark pants and was driving a white newer-model truck.
