On November 14, 2014, just before midnight, Flin Flon RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at the Royal Hotel in Flin Flon, Manitoba. A male suspect described as 5’5″-5’6″ wearing a hooded sweater and black bandana approached the front desk employee brandishing a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured and the incident was captured on video surveillance.
