On the 16th of September 2013 at approximately 1143 p.m the Gimli RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at the old Tempo Gas Station on Gimli Park Road. A passerby reported that they had heard a window break at that location. Three people dressed in black carrying back packs were entering the building through a window. After a short period of time the suspects left the building and departed the area on foot.
