On March 2, 2013 at 8:00 p.m, Headingley RCMP were dispatched to the scene of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a gas station on the Trans Canada Highway at Elie, Manitoba. Witnesses report that a male entered the premises brandishing a handgun. The man received an undisclosed quantity of cash and lottery tickets before fleeing in a waiting vehicle.There were no injuries. The suspect is described as about 5′ 10″ tall with a medium build wearing all black clothing. His head was shaved, and there was a discoloration visible under his right cheek bone.
