On June 7th, 2013 the Headingely RCMP received a complaint of theft of a transmission line. The theft occurred between 400 p.m. on the 6th, day of June and 700 a.m. on the 7th, of June at the CBC tower at Highway 2 and PR 424. The line had been on a wooden reel outside of the compound. 160 feet of the transmission was cut and stolen.
