On the 5th of June 2013 at approximately 500 a.m. the Peguis RCMP received a complaint of a fire at the old teacherage in Peguis Manitoba. The Peguis Fire Department was already on scene when the RCMP arrived. Once the fire was put out it was learned that the fire had started in the north east bedroom and according to the Fire Commissioner was suspicious in nature. No one was living in the home at the time of the fire.
