Armed Robbery

On November 3, 2013, shortly before 11 pm, RCMP received a report of an armed robbery of a Long Plain First Nation business. Two males wearing ski masks and armed with a crowbar as well as bear spray entered the premises, threatened the employee and demanded cash. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. There were no injuries. The suspects are described as one male 6 feet tall, approximately 200 pounds with an average build wearing a black sweater. The other male was around 5’10” with a small build and wearing a leather jacket up to his waist. Both wore gloves and their faces were covered.

The two fled in a white Ford Explorer that appears to have been stolen.
