During the early morning hours of August 25th, 2014 the Powerview RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of a cottage fire on Guffei Drive in the Rural Municipality of Alexander. When police arrived a the fire scene it was noticed that the structure was completed burned and was a total loss. This is the fourth residential fire on Guffei Drive in the last five years.
