On May 27, 2014, shortly after 10 pm, a male entered a business on Highway 44 in Lockport, Manitoba and demanded money from the clerk on duty. He was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled north on foot, toward the floodway bridge on Highway 44.
No injuries were sustained during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 18-20 years of age. He was about six feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black, zippered hoody; a black and white bandana tied over the hood and his face; and sunglasses.
Selkirk RCMP are asking for assistance in locating the suspect as well as locating a small, dark four-door Pontiac Pursuit or Chevrolet Cobalt last seen crossing the bridge in Lockport that may be connected to the incident.
