On August 16, 2012 at about 5:30 PM, Selkirk RCMP and local EMS were dispatched to a stabbing at a residence in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue in the City of Selkirk. A 26-year-old male of Winnipeg was located at the residence suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Selkirk General Hospital and later to Winnipeg with non-life threatening injuries.
