On Saturday, October 18, 2014 at approximately 6:15pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a fire at the Grace Mennonite Church on Third Street in Steinbach, MB. The fire was set to items placed on the roof of the church. Police investigation has deemed the fire to be an arson and the fire has caused approximately $15,000 in damage to the church.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying 4 male youths, approximately 12-15 years old. Two of the youth were riding BMX style bicycles. One of the bikes is described to be blue with no stickers and has black rims. The second bike is described as a white BMX style with black rims. One of the male suspects is believed to have been wearing a red sweater, beige pants and a toque with a pom pom on it. Another male youth suspect is believed to have been wearing a blue hoodie, dark shorts and had orange shoe laces.
