Steinbach RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a female who is driving an older model black Chevy SUV, who is going door to door in Blumenort pretending to work for Child and Family Services. The incident occurred at about 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14th, when this female described as approximately 5’6, thin build, Caucasian with sandy blond hair in a ponytail, wearing a black jacket and a blue blouse, was let into a home in Blumenort pretending to work for CFS. No record of this women was found as ever working for CFS. Police are asking the public to exercise caution when approached by unknown people without credentials going door to door.
