On July 30, 2012 at about 4:00 PM, Thompson RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene of a house fire McGill Place in Thompson. The residence was not occupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner attended to assist. Evidence located at the fire scene indicates an arson.
