On May 24th, 2015, police were called to a fire at 54017 Allinson Road (Road 10 W) in Headingley, Manitoba. Fire and EMS were already on scene, with flames and smoke extending well above the residence. No one had lived in the residence for a year, the building was not occupied at the time, and nothing suspicious was noted in the area. The damage was limited to the residence itself. The residence was small in size and approximately 100 years old. The Office of the Fire Commissioner felt that the fire was suspicious and that arson may have been the cause.
