Breaking & Entering, Theft

On December 7th, 2015 the Lac du Bonnet RCMP Detachment received a report of numerous break and enters at the Poplar Bay Campground in the Poplar Bay Provincial Park, near Provincial Road 315.

Approximately 20 properties with trailers and/or sheds are believed to have been broken into during the night of December 6th or the early morning hours of December 7th. Numerous items were stolen from the trailers and sheds but the culprits appeared to be targeting flat-screen televisions. An unknown vehicle is believed to have been used to assist in the thefts. The Lac du Bonnet RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.
