CP Police are investigating damage caused by a semi-tractor trailer to a railway signal mast located on Stephen Ave in Portage La Prairie. The damage occurred sometime between April 13th at 9:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. on April 14th, 2016. Damage occurred when the trailer, driving east bound on 4th Avenue E, tried turning south bound on to Stephens Avenue and drove over a stop sign and the signal mast causing an estimated total damage of $20,000.

Broken railway lights can’t keep us safe.
