On September 7th, 2016 an armed robbery occurred at the Lockport Wave Hair Salon and Tanning Studio where cash and hair straighteners were stolen. The suspect is believed to be either an Aboriginal or Caucasian male and is skinny. The suspect had a speech impediment and used the name Aaron. The first time he entered the store, he was wearing a fedora hat, prescription glasses, a red hoodie and black nylon pants.

The second time he entered the store, he wore a black hoodie over the red hoodie. He wielded a hunting knife with a brown handle and five inch blade. The subject is believed to have fled the scene on Highway 9 in a stolen black 2009 Honda Civic, license plate HCV 881.
