At about 8 pm on Friday, May 26 an unknown male confronted a youth who was walking on Mercy St near Sutherland Ave in Selkirk. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and took items from the victim’s backpack. The Caucasian male is described as 5’7″ and having a short beard/scruff. He appears to be in his 20s and was wearing black sweatpants and a baggy hoodie with rips and tears on the bottom. The suspect ran off toward the train tracks.
