In the early morning hours of October 2nd, 2008 the Thompson RCMP were dispatched to a report of a deceased male, found near the Thompson Shell station, in the Southwood area of Thompson Manitoba. The male was identified as 19 year old Christopher Clyde Ponask. It was confirmed that he was the victim of a homicide.
